Sleep deprived day #... oh, who knows

Why won't my body sleep?! Stupid chronic insomnia needs to die.

Alright, so I may have stayed up reading fanfic a couple of times, but it really has only been a couple of times. Truly. *shifty eyes* But that's only because I've spent my days doing productive reading, yet my need for fanfic remains, so... yeah. I'm weak, okay ( Read more... )

Well, I finally got some proper sleep last night, so now I feel better. Not that I got any more sleep than every other night, which is totally weird, but I'll take it.

It does suck when you're shows come out with not so good episodes or get cancelled. That kills your mood right there.

I stopped watching Once a couple of weeks back, but I've seen spoilers here and there, which I haven't liked at all. To be honest, I only carried on for that long because so many people on LJ are watching it, but I can't muster the energy anymore. It stopped been fun for me since it came back from the Christmas hiatus, which is ridiculous. Even Lost kept me interested for a full season.

Grimm I rewatch in bits and pieces, mostly fast-forwarding straight to Monroe scenes, because I'm obsessed like that. He's way too adorable.

Community got renewed! On a 13 episode order, which is the kiss of death,

At least they are giving the writers time to wrap it up. And, who knows, it may experience a bit of a lift on Friday without competition from the BBT.

I've stopped watching Once Upon a Time.

I watched it last night to see the RumBelle (avoid my latest post if you don't want spoilers) but... yeah, it's not very good. At all.

At least. That does help a lot. And taking it away from BBT's time slot is fantastic. There is no way such a niche show liek Community can survive against such strong ratings.

Feel free to spoil me. I practically live on Tumblr these days, which is brimming with spoilers, and I'm really not going to start watching the show again. There's too many genuinely good shows I actually want to watch. I'm so disappointed in this one. It began with so much potential. But, I suppose that the multi-season structure already doomed it.

Community did better early on in the ratings, when the BBT was on Monday night and it had no direct competition. It wasn't a massive a hit by any means, but it wasn't dipping so much into the 3-4 million range. A Friday move may give it some steam, and it's possible the Grimm fandom may also latch onto it as well.

The show simply fell apart. It rushed through every plot-line, had character revelations that felt completely out of, well, character and set up a second season arc that seems downright clumsy. And the RumBelle was pathetically lacking.
