sixty dollars? I got season 4 off Amazon for 17...

As for Supernatural, I stopped watching it in season 4 for similar reasons. Season 5 got me back. So your concerns are valid, and I can totally relate, but it DOES get better! In my opinion, of course.

yeah but the list price is sixty dollars and I paid that gladly for season one. And I'm sure a lot of supernatural fans do pay full price to get it on the same day it comes out. What I'm saying is that they don't give much back to us. the actors don't do a commentary, there isn't any behind the scenes stuff. Hell I'd be happy with the stuff they did in the second season when real experts talked about the various stuff. Instead they just have the writers talking about their ideas on paradise lost.

Oh absolutely! I was one of those fans who discovered the show a little later, so the cost of the show wasn't as much of an issue.

But I have the same complaint about TV seasons in general- their special features vary so much and sometimes they charge sooo much (especially cable shows) for NOTHING but the episodes. That drives me crazy.
