We're obviously dealing with a lunatic here, I don't think even he knew what he was doing.

All that keeps running through my head, was that if not for Tech's campus gun ban, some of those students wouldn't have been so helpless.

My father has given my sister a nine-milimeter, and i'm taking her to the range tomorrow to teach her how to use it.

Hendershots aren't helpless victims. Ever.

I can't believe that as a group they weren't able to disarm him. I also can't believe that in Virginia non-US citizens can purchase firearms.

Every time something like this happens we're all either shocked or find ourselves asking how it could have been prevented. My thoughts go out to the victims and their families, and I hope we can someday get past this string of psychotic attacks by our generation that all started with Columbine. Tragic.

Maybe if there was no campus gun ban a few law abiding gun owners could have stopped this nutcase in his tracks and saved some lives. In this situation not only did the law fail to protect 32 innocent victims, but it made sure to prevent them from protecting themselves as well. Now THAT's tragic

I'm always hesitant to say the solution to gun violence is more guns... seems kinda like using carnivorous cochroaches to solve a termite problem...
