The feeling of being alone and lonely right now is something to be expected. You've been in and out of relationships for at least four years. This is probably the first time in a while that you've been on your own for a substantial amount of time. And I think part of it is, like you said, that you're so busy you don't have something else to distract you when you have that down time.
As for the couple, that's an issue with them, not with you. You're amazing, and we're all well aware of that.
Just keep your chin up - things are hard now on a lot of different levels, but they WILL get better. :) I promise. Lovelovelove.
