Anya had spent most of the day crouched in front of the Clothing box. Eventually (and after the promise of curses) she'd been given a yellow sundress that she'd decided would do nicely.

She told herself there was nothing to be nervous about, this was a date. She'd had dates before hadn't she? It wasn't like this was something new. But it was. It was someone new, and it made all the difference.

Squaring her shoulders she approached his hut, managing a smile and to ignore that her stomach felt like it was filled with butterflies. "Am i late?" she asked, when she saw him pacing, hoping that she wasn't. "I'm not that good with time sometimes." Oh gods that sounded lame.

He turned at her voice, clutching the flower stems harder still. A warm smile crossed his face as she approached, and he took steps to meet her. When he was close enough, he held out the flowers for her.

"These are for...ye," he said, hoping he had gotten the custom right.

"Flowers!" Honestly, if asked, Anya wouldn't have been able to remember the last time she'd gotten flowers. That Glenn had picked these himself made it seem sweeter. She took them from him, her fingers brushing his as she did. "They're lovely. Thank you. I didn't bring you anything." Suddenly she wished she had.

"Oh, that is quite alright," he assured with a chuckle, offering her a shy smile. He motioned to the spread nearby. "Please, have a seat. I will join ye as soon as I add some wood to the fire."
