Dimitri was beyond embarrassed. Spending the first half of the day paying for things he and Rose had stolen during their time as children was both tiring and worrisome considering their current situation. "Should I?" Rose asked innocently, not quite wrapping her arms around his shoulders. She might have been reconsidering this whole thing now that they were so close.

The nice thing about NOLA was that no one was giving their little exhibition a second glance.

She was hilarious, really, nudging him like he was her horse. Okay, so he kind of was when he started moving toward the hotel, shh. "I was still taller than you."
