Rose brushed the remnants of her donut off her face as she shifted in the uncomfortable cubicle. "Do you really think if we wait here long enough, he'll just come out?"
"There's a chance," Dimitri replied, which wasn't a solid answer, but it was the one he could give at the moment. "It's clear enough we can't go in." No matter how much Dimitri liked the idea of going after a Strigoi, he couldn't run the risk not knowing the numbers.
She just barely kept herself from sighing, knowing there wasn't anything they could do about it. "Maybe we could, like, buy some spy cameras and plant them on the humans who wander in."
"I almost wish we could stop any humans from wandering in. It's doubtful they'll wander back out." Unless they knew what they were getting into like Strigoi blood whores.
