[locked from hostiles]

I've received confirmation that Agent Eddie Brock is at large, and has been committing acts of violence against citizens here in Neon.

Reasons are as of yet unknown... permission to raise the alert and to have people on the look out for him, commanders? I can't imagine what might've set him off...

here we go again, dats, eddie brock, log post

We do still have to keep focus on cleaning up the mess from Argomon. And the destabilization around those areas is also liable to prompt even more crime and violence, so tracking him down amidst all that will be difficult. No doubt, it's one reason we're slow to be learning this for certain.

We would still like available agents in the city to assist your local agents with clean up and maintaining peace, but certainly. However, I don't want rash action taken against him should it not be warranted - we need to find out WHY he's taking these actions now.

About that.

I've gotten permission from Alex to go after him and find out what's up. I AM his partner after all, and I'd like to keep tabs on him.

Don't worry, I'll report in every hour and call in backup if needed.

As much as I don't want to assume the worst, we have to consider the possibility. With Agent Brock's more than questionable actions, knowledge of how dangerous he COULD be if turned against us, and past incidents involving rogue agents... I would hesitate to allow just a single agent to be searching for him.

I want everyone to be on the look out for him.

Though, for now, looking for him is fine, but... I think it would be advisable to bring in some outside help in this matter, in addition to just yourself.

Yeah, but I know Eddie. Something's set him off and I could probably figure out a pattern to this. Before I endanger anyone ELSE, I'd like to try and track the pattern of movement before calling in backup.

And I'm not going to engage. I haven't been a cop for this long in order to get in danger by my rogue partner.

...oh, for crying out LOUD...

Sigh.

Okay.

I know you've gotten this warning before, but let me give it to you from someone that's come from his world and kicked his ass.

Venom. Eddie Brock.

Homicidal.

A lot of the times? Psychopathic.

These two?

Not a good combo. I'd hoped you guys had a leash on him, or had an idea of what you're dealing with, but...

I've HAD one of those symbiotes latched onto me before. They get into your head. Make you crazy. Murderous. I nearly killed my own BROTHER when Carnage - basically the Venom symbiote's offspring - latched onto me.

If something has made Brock snap?

I hope you're coming loaded for bear.

He's not nice when he's playing hero.

You don't want to be the one with those teeth coming after you.

I understand your concerns, sir. But at the same time, the reports we've been given are that he hasn't exactly killed anyone yet. And either way, what's done is done.

Nevertheless, I will take any advice you can give us about how to deal with him. This could very well be the calm before the storm.

Hasn't killed anyone YET. If you have the faith he won't, you're asking for the body bags to come rolling in.

That said, I should HOPE you guys would already know...

But.

Fire.

High frequency sounds. Supersonics.

Both of those will defuse the symbiote on him like nothing else.
