a question for the populous

Nov 09, 2005 19:09

i'm almost twenty-three, average hieght, skinny gothy-rocker, with a decent fulltime job with benefits, going back to school, and joining military, and with fairly sizeable plans for the future.
very independant, quiet and shy, mature, pretty good looking guy.

should i have a woman?
and ...why?

Should you? I'd say that if you're lonely and aren't into being kissed by boys as an alternative, it would probably be a good idea. Haven't the women of the world been deprived by your absence enough as it is?

Why? That's easy. It's nice to have someone to be with, talk to, and fuck senseless.

The answer should be obvious... if you want a relationship you should have one because you want one.
If you don't want a relationship you shouldn't have one because you don't want one.

But I don't like the question for a few reasons:
1. The way you stated it sounds pretty chauevenist
2. You should want a relationship with a person you are into, not a person for a relationship you want to have

true.

my biggest prob is that as much as it might be nice to have/be with someone spiffy and all that.... i don't need anyone, and won't let myself.

i've had to grow independant and thru past relationships grown bitter and jaded and angry, spiteful, and even hateful.

so, as much as i don't want someone, i do, as much as i do, i don't.

doesn't help i've never been good with women anyways.
