I think the moment Elena either remembers OR she realizes (by someone telling her) what Damon did, she'd love him even more. It will all work out perfectly for DE in the end, I'm sure of it.

And I know, after I read it I was like "Damn, wtf? That's messed up" lol. I really wish she had somehow remembered... but I think I'm going to continue with this and address that later. The idea that compulsion has flaws has some serious potential here lol ;D

I agree- I just wish we could have gotten more of a reaction out of her in that moment. I mean, if you look at her face, she's just kind of standing there. In shock, I'm sure, but still... I wish she would have SAID something....ugh. And it will. I honestly feel as though her and Stefan are just wrong together, and he was just a gateway to Damon. I agree with you 100%- in the end, it will be Damon and Elena.

I do have to say though, I am most likely going to continue with this fic and it's kinda almost the same thing you're talking about... but not, lol. It's going to be more about sleep and memory all most- it's said that sleep, and dreaming, is a way for our minds to consolidate the information we come into contact with during the day. So, my question is- yes, he made her forget... but did he erase the memory of what happened all together? Because there is a difference there, lol. Or, I don't know... something like that. But yea, lol, I figured I'd just let you know just in case.

But please, PLEASE write your story! Spread the Damon/Elena love around!!!! :D And again, I am so glad you enjoyed it. :D
