Rose sat on the porch of a little blue house in Paris, Kentucky and tried to tally up where to go next. Eventually, Dimitri sought Rose out, hoping to trade places and get her some much-needed rest now that he'd spent a little time talking with Sonya. The transformation was still amazing to him. To think that was what it had been like with him, the flash of light and magic and...life.

It left Dimitri with plenty to think about.

"Go rest," he suggested gently, taking a seat beside her.

Rose looked up at him, unable not to smile a little in greeting no matter what the situation was. "You're the one supposed to be sleeping right now," she pointed out. "I'm fine to keep watch."

"I'm too amped up to sleep," Dimitri admitted. "It's a lot to take in."

Yeah, like how it was all amazing and shit, but Sonya still wouldn't give up the information they came for. Rose tried not to say anything like that. It probably wasn't the nicest thing ever.

"Is she doing okay?"

Kyle was resting, but not sleeping. He didn't trust Sonya, Robert or Victor not to do something that they weren't supposed to. He closed his eyes every so often for a few minutes but was listening out in case anyone came too close.

She couldn't see in the dark as well as a Strigoi or anything, but Rose was more than able to see when someone totally wasn't sleeping.

"Dude, Tiny, go to sleep. What is it with people refusing to actually get some rest?" Rose said in a hushed but vaguely amused voice.
