[The snow was quite thick on the ground and midnight well past by the time Yue had given in and gone to get some rest, but he was still up early enough to go out for a morning flight over the village. He dislikes snow while it falls, but once it's on the ground he has to admit its beauty, especially as the first light of morning reflects off of it.
He notices some rather... odd behavior in the village as he flies, though, more people moving about than he's become accustomed to, and in different ways. (The singing is definitely unusual.) Could it be that one of the "experiments" he's been warned of is beginning?
Accordingly, Yue turns back to the house again, intending to fetch the journal he'd left behind and see if there is any information to be found. As he approaches the house he slows, sensing an unusual and yet somehow bizarrely familiar presence there, to match the dark figure perched on the roof. In his usual spot. What on earth

Yue. [He smiles as though the sun has just come up after days of darkness. It feels as though Yue's been gone for days, even if he'd only stepped out for a moment. Touya lifts off the roof and floats closer to Yue, continuing to smile.]
[Yue's eyes widen slightly at that -- both the tone of voice and the behavior are unusual for Touya, and then the fact that his abilities suddenly mirror Yue's own? It has to be some kind of trick. An impostor with a similar enough presence that it can fool him. Or is it one of the Malnosso "experiments" he'd been told about?
Either way, this is... weird. He automatically draws back as Touya approaches, wings lifting higher with mild agitation.]
[Touya stops in mid-air, floating above the ground now instead of the roof. He looks hurt, confused. If there's one person he knows, it's Yue--and he looks almost... annoyed at Touya's being there.]
Yeah... I see that now. I guess I just missed you, so the minutes seemed to drag on.
[Touya looks awkwardly at the roof. What did he do to upset Yue?]
Are you upset because we didn't have sex last night?
[Touya looks down, watching Sanji crossing the road, and smiles when he realizes he's being watched. He spreads his wings to their full span (which yes... is nearly as wide as the house) and drops in a controlled glide down to where the other man is.]

[little!Gin, the alarmingly tragic looking orphaned child, just happens to be passing by. He managed to get a decent pair of shoes in town and a jacket that's much too big, but this town is still really... really strange in his book. Doesn't help that there's a creepy guy in black with a power mullet sitting on the roof of one of the houses. While he doesn't sense any reiatsu, it's not necessarily a telling sign here, he's found.
Is this guy supposed to be death? A demon? Some kind of really weird Hollow? Gin isn't sure, but he's fairly certain he doesn't want to cross its path. He's currently trying to creep past it and back toward the woods without being noticed.]

[Touya's brow creases in concern. A child shouldn't be walking around by himself in the snow, especially not into the forest. There were things in forests that led people off cliffs were dangerous for kids.]
[Without pausing, Touya spreads his wings and jumps off of the roof. He glides straight for the child, hoping he can get to him before he has to chase the kid through the trees.]

[No sooner does the thought spark in his mind than the darkly mulleted man spreads his wings and- it's coming right for me, isn't it.
Gin is off like a shot. He doesn't know shunpo yet or you wouldn't even blink before he's gone, but he sure moves fast for a scrawny little thing.
If he can just make it to the edge of the forest, he's sure he can lose him in the trees. Those wings aren't made for tight spaces, thank goodness. He glances over his shoulder just long enough to see the man giving chase and with effort, Gin manages to fling his book over his shoulder, hoping for a distraction at the least, a good solid hit at best.]
Hey, wait! [Touya stops dead at the trees and lands. It takes a bit of concentration, but Touya eventually dismisses his wings and gives chase into the forest. Dang, this kid moves fast.]
[The child is moving away rather quickly, despite being a little kid. The book catches him on the side of head, but it didn't hurt him so much as make him stop to pick up the book.]
I'm not going to hurt you, and you dropped something!
[OMFG it's snow! Not that Hakkai was really a child or anything, but he did have child-like tendencies from time to time. Maybe it was for the lack of childhood he had as a kid. So this cute little chibi would be making a snowman in someone's yard. Completely content.
Be careful. He also has ADD tendencies from this experiment too.]
[There was no mistaking it. He could tell there was a collection of energy not far off, and it approached. The chibi wasn't the least bit worried. Why should he be?
His emerald green gaze shifted toward the taller figure. A smile etching away at his plump cheeks.]
Yeah! Maybe a scarf too. [Assume the thinking pose.] What do you think?

[Touya tilts his head at the tiny snowman, smiling at how adorable it is that he and Yue have children making snowmen in their yard--like they were a kind married couple.]
Wait here, I'll be right back. [Touya dismisses his wings and heads inside the house.]
