This really was a nice thing to give this year. Not that I didn't enjoy the fish... or the visions but, I think I can appreciate this plant a lot more. It seems to be blooming cherry blossoms, though it doesn't really look like a cherry tree.

What sorts of flowers and plants is everyone else getting? Let's share our plants!

Oh, do you know about plants? Can you tell me what mine is?

[The video clicks onto a tall plant in a pot. It appears quite similar to a lupin, with shiny silver blossoms.]

Ah, well, I don't know that much about plants, I know a few names. I just thought it would be nice if we could see other people's, since they seem to be growing funny, and aren't any particular plant.

It looks, sort of familiar. But, I'm sorry I can't quite put a name on it. Maybe I should have looked for a plant book first.

Oh, that's okay! I'm just curious.

If you do find a plant book, can I look at it?

Hmph. Mine is dead.

[Video flips on to show the plant, which certainly LOOKS dead- it's gnarled and twisted in on itself and honestly kind of creepy looking. And of course, there's those weird pod things - it's not a nice looking plant. The only somewhat redeeming thing about it is a group of stunted flowers near the top that look like they might have grown to be white roses, but even these are dry and shriveled.]

I'm sorry, about your plant. [He wasn't going to comment on the creepiness of how it looked.]

I even watered it. How ungrateful of it to turn out so unpleasant. [She flicks lightly at one of the pods, and it releases a bit of dust into the air.] Perhaps they're trying to poison us.

Perhaps that's just... how it's suppose to look? I mean, an alien world must have lots of different plants, right?

But you've already seen mine, Lute.

Actually... Could I have your help with something?

And it was a really lovely tree.

What do you need?

Well... I apologize for the trouble in advance, but it seems like the plant can't stay in the apartment.

...Laharl became really upset when he saw it last.

So much that he wanted to destroy it.

I'm not sure what came over him, but... I convinced him not to.

But he said that it should be moved up to the roof. ...If it upsets him that much, then I can't help but agree with his demands. Though I'm worried about how it will take to the weather.

What should I do, Lute?

They're mocking us.

[Isn't sure what to say at first, but then smiles. Hey, combo plants are fun!]

I rather like it.

This plant is a Patchouli plant that grows apples. My name is Patchouli Knowledge. Do you understand?
