[24] - Haircut

May 05, 2009 04:31

With the days getting warmer, I have finally decided to give myself a haircut. It feels refreshing, although at the same time my neck feels a little too sensitive to wind. Perhaps I am spending a little too much time in my human form; I used to be so irritated by the long hair. Yet I had dealt with it for so long...Speaking of haircuts, why do ( Read more... )

Haircut, eh? Nice. Needa' get myself one o' those. Jus' for the back of my head, though, the hair's growin' long there. Though, heh, it actually ain't that bad.

Dorm rooms look too small for ONE adult to live in, let alone two. S'why I ain't wantin' Matt 'n I to live on campus.

((strikes are thoughts))

The dormitory rooms are not as small as one think as long as one is organized with his things. It was quite spacious, actually, until that rainbow goon had moved in, supposedly temporally, but ever since he had moved in, it has been quite difficult to search for my things.

Eh, dorm rooms don't have 'nough space for all my gyro equioment, I bet. I've got plenty. They probably ain't got no room for a bunch of gym stuff either.

'Rainbow goon'? The hell is that?

Ah, I must apologize. I meant Ho-oh. It has become a habit of mine to call the other by other names; his absent-mindedness is quite a hassle to deal with every day.

Agreed on the haircut bit.
They make too much of a fuss about it.
It's hair. Cut it.
I don't even do much with it as a girl

Precisely! Unfortunately, my female form gains a considerable amount of hair (which, I may add, mysteriously disappears and goes back to normal after transforming back), so much that I am forced to take time into taking care of it. I do not understand how women with long hair are able to deal with it; it takes a good thirty minutes just to comb through the hair, and then another ten minutes trying to get it tied up to keep them out of the way.

I agree, getting one's hair cut is more of a chore than it should be. Quite often I have gotten the "what brand of dye do you use?" question. I can only imagine you've received similar questions with your hair color. From what I know, looks are important to plenty of people, not just humans. After all, appearance is an important part of Pokemon contests as well.

Ah, you're still practicing your ocarina? That's nice to know. If you wouldn't mind, I think I'd like to hear you play it sometime. But I can understand your preoccupation with reading. Before the new school year started, all I seemed to be doing was reading. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Ah, I do get that kind of question with my blue highlights also.

Hm, I am not knowledgeable regarding the Pokemon contest. Perhaps this is due to me being a wild Pokemon...?

Ah yes, although my skills have not progressed at all during the past few months. Now that there is a faculty member teaching music, perhaps I will inquire whether they will be able to give some extra lessons off to the side. I am quite excited to see what kind of music the teacher will provide the students!

Ah, I mus apologize for going off the tangent, but would you care for some tea this weekend? I have found a very pleasant cafe that serves very delicious tea.

You're certainly using the amenities that the school is offering to your advantage. It almost makes me want to pick up an instrument as well. But with my delicate ears, I'm not sure I would be able to handle practicing for long periods of time.

This weekend? That sounds good. I always enjoy outings for tea. Thank you for inviting me.

The school does have quite a lot to offer, regardless of being a teacher or student!

Ah, I do believe there are various kinds of instruments that you may be interested, although I am not knowledgeable of exactly what kinds are there. Perhaps speaking to the music teacher may help you in some way of finding a perfect instrument?

Of course, it is only if you are willing to try out an instrument.

They have been fixed for a while now, have they not?

...You knew that the rooms were fixed already? And yet you continued to reside in my dormitory and misplace quite a lot of my things!

Why did you not tell me that they had finished fixing?

Mm, they gave my room away... My staying here has not been that bad, has it?

...Alright, but you really must do something about your habit of misplacing things. It took so much time trying to go through your things to find a pair of scissors for cutting my hair.

The shops DO overcharge for simple things like that, don't they? It's one of the reasons why I rarely ever trim my own hair, the other being that I think I'd look very strange in my Pokemon form without it at this length.. Also, the people working there give me very strange looks when I tell them that it's naturally white.

Hm, do you really think so? I do understand I am not in the position to speak, but I find that shorter hair is a bit more refreshing to be in. I do get quite neglectful with tending it, so I usually end up with longer hair. It gets rather difficult whenever I mis-transform and end up in a female body, though.
