It looks like a robotic, super-flat PARODY of the bland LJ comment pages!

...I'll admit, it looks mildly classier, but it still looks like an atrocity.

Haha yeah, wtf. The weirdest part for me was staring at the new opening page, trying to figure out how to get to, you know, anything useful...and then as soon as I found the button to actually reach my journal, everything looked the same as ever. Sooo...only the splash page and the comments pages have changed?

btw, is dreamwidth pretty good? I'm always really slow to join new social media things but I've seen quite a few people switch to it over time...

Some people have been forcibly switched over to the "feed". It's hard to say.

I'm peeved because I used the "new comments" feature to tell when people had replied to me on communities, and now I have no idea whether people have replied to me without checking the comments. -_-;; The one time an LJ change DOESN'T break something, they seem morally obligated to remove it...

Dreamwidth is basically old!LJ. I'm... not sure how to really build social circles there, since it doesn't seem to have the same userbase size that LJ (still?!) has, but it's generally good. I like it. :D
