I think the thing that hurt you guys most is that this show strays more from the Boston identity than any other year. At the same time I think the depth of construction is higher than any other Boston show to date. I'd love to see Boston continue doing work like this, it will just take audiences and the judging community a while to get accustomed to it.

yeah, this year Boston is going back to a more latin/spanish/jazzy show theme. i do hope that the "depth" you speak of is a bit more understandable to the audience this year. Last year, people weren't really understanding the show. I hope it'll be easy to understand like BD doing Godfather and not like Cadets with too much going on.

When did you guys change your uniforms? They look cool! love the flag work and the rifles too! What year was this again? Anywho... Glad to see another garudie out there. I've marched all seven years... Cavaliers, Blue devils, and SCVG(5yrs). Are you teaching or just spinning in college? Well, let me stop rambling on and let you get back to your life.

i teach and i dont spin in college. i'd like to just for the hell of it but i can't combine teaching and marching all in the fall!! With two jobs and beinf a full time student??!! CHAOS! The change of the unis is recent. i know the sashes became sequency (silver) in 06 whereas they were black before. Who are you? Where do you teach?

I'm in hell(AKA:Arizona)!LOL! It's really hard to keep in guard and marching when you're out in the sun with temps at 100* - 117*. I remember many of peeps who've had heat stroaks and just burnt to a crisp. I've taught at five different high school. Two in Phoenix, my second HS in safford, my first HS in cottonwood, and than here in Prescott valley(bradshaw mountain). I've had as many as 25 girls all the way down to just me plus four others(my senior year). I've also marched DCI and WGI... so I've got plenty of exsperience. It's been fun marching and spinning and i wish i could turn back time to enjoy it all again. Even the heat and long hours, oh, one time the a wind burst blew my rifle off and i went to catch it, yeah i broke my middle finger... boy it was great, all black and blue, had to take two weeks off rifle... kept going with the flag routines. what's the worst injury you've encountered?
