I love your words of advice to yourself. I think you'll do well if you follow those codes ... but never turn down friendly advice. Most people really just want whats best for you (even if it's really what's best for them and they don't realize it'll help you at all)

if anything, i look up to you the most out of everyone i know thats enlisted- well, also your the only other girl i know thats wanted to do it as much as i have. i admire you making this decision for yourself, despite what many other people say. after all of the talks we've had about it, seeing you getting ready to leave for basic has made me really realize that if/when i decide to enlist it's my decision and my life, not anyone elses... good luck in basic, you'll make it through, just stay strong. i'll write you. see you tonight.
