A long pointless story with a happy ending

Just got home after another ten and a half hour overnight drive. D and I got in a huge blow up argument in Des Moines because he wanted to stop and spend the night but I wanted to press on. Mainly in order to preserve the girls' sleep schedule. I drove the rest of the way (had already started driving past KC) so he couldn't really complain too
