Busy? Yes. For someone who doesn't get to go out much or partake in outside pleasures, I manage to keep myself amused and get into quite a bit of trouble on my own!

I am still in shock about the awesomness of my new machine. Going to track its progress across the States, shortly. WooT!

Yay for getting a new machine and Yay for son's that help out their Momma's. :) You really need to take some pictures of these things you make and share them with us. I for one would love to see them. You talk of all of these interesting projects so often, my curiosity is killing me.

You really should. I have zero desire to do any of those things that require any sort of needle or thread, however I do admire the work of those who enjoy it and my home is filled with handmade items and I often give them as gifts, (one of the reasons I love the Preble County Pork Festival!!) if I see something strikes my fancy that another is talented at. Could be a little side line biz for ya...

Well toots, you wouldn't believe the variety of things I make!

Topiary tress, reverse decouppage on glass plates, quilts and wall hangings, crocheted things of all sorts, beaded semi-precious stones necklaces, bags...and on and on, and on! Tell me what's your pleasure, and likely as not I can make it! I also have designed and made, (and intend to get back into), crocheted masks, to be displayed on the wall.

Do I need to go to the Pork Festival?

You keep an eye on that burn now young lady, don't hold off taking it to the doctors if it looks to get worse rather than better.

Yay for new sewing machines.

Maggie, my friend, I assuer you the burn is healing well. I slapped Aloe Vera Gel onit every 20 minutes after the burn occurred. It looks nastier than it feels, and never blistered.

Yay for sewing machines, and for sons who fully realize how lost I would be without one, and are generous enough to buy their old Mumsie a new one! You can't possibly know how very excited I am about this, especially with several projects on hold, and piling up. Not the least of which is the mermaid purse for Bea.
