i'm never someone that can completely let go of her inhibitions and enjoy the moment without worrying about the consequences.

does that make me a good girl?

Hell no, it just means you're mindful. That only becomes a bad thing when it prevents you from doing the things you deep-down wish you would.

insightful comment. i like that.. mindful. i wish more people give mindful people more credit. in a day where inhibition is out the door and people are ruled by hedonism, it's pretty old fashioned.

I think hedonism is old fashioned. Give me passion, both subtle and exceptional, not some heroin-like addiction to constant hyperstimulation. I hate to sound judgmental, but I think hedonism is the pursuit of the joyless and unsatisfied.

people these days sometimes cannot tell the difference between passion and hyperstimulation. that's a by-product of a generation that lives on instant gratification. i agree with you about hedonism, it arrives from boredom and an overstimulated life only ends in boredom. you must have arrived at this conclusion from first hand experience, no one can feel this deeply about something without having walked it himself.
