Kelly- my heart breaks for all that has transpired over the past couple of days. These things don't make sense, but I know that God is still God, so there is hope. I am left numb...

Kelly,

This morning when I started praying it was on my heart so much that I couldn't do anything else until I did. I was grieved for this loss in your life and so many others. I really will pray for you and his family during this time.

We love you..

I'm in mourning. I mourn because I know what his leadership has meant to you and others in my life, because he was a voice rising & calling us higher. I mourn because the world sees a tragedy, and rightly so, and right now he's right where he wanted to be. We're left to deal with the reminder that the best, most wonderful, most talented and even most spiritual of us... must eventuallly (and at a time not of our choosing) face the prospect of death.

Thanks for your candor, your vulnerablity, and your honesty. I also appreciate that you're striving to see God in this. The cold reality on Earth is that the mortality rate still hovers around 100%. I take comfort (some small bit) in thinking that Kyle spent his life well. May God grant me the grace to aspire to as much. Keep on plugging Kelly.
