One day, someday, I will run a marathon.

Notice the lack of 'win' in that sentence.

y'know, if you finish, i'd consider that a remarkable win. just starting is pretty darn impressive.

What she said. I mean, those who win a marathon usually finishes before 2,5 hour of running. That is really freaky since the distance we are talking about is 42 195 meters (yes my dad is a marathon veteran and his knowledge has rubbed off).

On a very optimistic day I usually say that I will run a marathon in less then four hours. Because that would probably mean that I will beat both dad and my sis

Running a marathon is full of win. I have a knee injury and can barely run at all.

Just running it would be a very cool accomplishment!

You're going to do wonderful and great things one day Steph. I know it. And just by being you. No worries, you are an amazing person and always will be. :)
