Saturday night I spent at Trent's participating in Game-o-rama '02. Two PS2s - linked, two TVs, two copies of Time Splitters 2, six geeky guys. We played until about 3:30. The best part about video gaming isn't the gaming, it's the trash talk. Lot's of fun ( Read more... )

You should give some examples. My most common phrase is "Yeah you keep telling yourself that, maybe one day you'll believe it."

There aren't really any staples when gaming. More commonly there are screams of delight, middle fingers, phrases like "you son of a bitch", lots of pointing and laughing at the losers, etc. My favourite line of the night:

Ryan: "Dammit, how did you kill me?!"
Me (after a very rare kill): "Uh, with my gun."

Poker usually churns out some pretty classic lines, though:

Mark: "I'm folding."
Trent: "Like the French Army."

or this all time classic, after Pat folded:

Mark: "You're folding? Where'd you leave your dick?"
Pat, Mark's brother-in-law (without even the slightest hesitation: "At home in your sister."
