Heads up--Hostess 100 calorie packs contain neotame. I don't know for sure that all of them do, but the chocolate and strawberry cupcakes definitely do. I Guess that's one more thing off the list that I can't eat.....

my thoughts exactly. Luckily i saw the ingredients BEFORE I ate one because I was looking to see if it had yellow dye to see whether my mom could eat it.

Glad you read it before you ate it. I read labels all the time because I am allergic to all of the artificial sweeteners, but as I told Fabric Dragon, I had never heard of neotame.

she's the one who clued me into it a little while ago. A lot of my mood problems were caused by artificial sweetners and more and more they're discovering that they cause depression and anxiety
