I have been without a vehicle for six weeks because I did not have the money to get it fixed. I now have the money and I can't find a mechanic who can look at it for at least 10 days :( I'm supposed to be at Simplefaire on Saturday...... I haven't been to any event since PENNSIC!

Well, had my gray van looked at today. It's going to be more complicated than I expected to fix. Will decide whether or not to fix it after I get the GMC looked at. My neighbor was thinking it might just be a hose that needed replacing, which would be quick and easy and cheap, but not so it was the boot ? that was leaking power steering fluid. ( Read more... )

It is friday night. Again, I am not getting ready to go to an event. It will be at least two more weeks until I can think about getting the car fixed. I've put a ton of stuff up in my etsy shop and most things are shipping free. But that's about all I can do.

my internet is fixed (Hurray!) I managed to get some work over the weekend and get it done even without the internet. The cable box only needed to be reset for everything to work okay. So a few things are going my way! Hurray.

The worst partabout beingwithout a vehicle here is how isolating it is. My neighbors are all nice enough but not people I'd choose to do things with. Internet is out except for what little I can do on my phone andnow the second tv in the house died. Feel free to give me a call. 508 208 7811

My event schedule is wiped clean as of now. I have no transportation. I can't get to anything. I will inform all when I start getting to events/craft shows/conventions again.
