YEY!! Then I can drive your food back over to you. I don't remember quite how far away your place is. :S It's all still okay. ^_^
Hah, funny, Sayre was just talking about needing more protein.
Anywho, SWIMMING. I've been wanting to do that but I hate not being able to see, and have never been able to find good goggles that didn't leak too much. I miss swimming, such a good workout. Very cool that you got that much work in. I'm like, proud of you. :D
And still, please feel free to come talk to me if you want Linear Algebra help anytime! ^^;;
I was under the impression that carbs provided a more immediate energy source than did protein? Hmm... quick google search explains differences in food sources (just in case? you may have already looked this up, don't mean to imply you haven't): http://sportsmedicine.about.com/cs/nutrition/a/aa080803a.htm
Carbs do provide a more immediate energy source. They also provide a more immediate energy withdrawal after they've been burned off... I've found that my habit of not eating enough protein means that my energy levels often fluctuate wildly. Eating more protein tends to stabilize my energy, causing less intense highs and lows. Protein also seems to help my body recover from physical activity and repair damaged tissue; I tend to see a marked difference in how I feel several hours later, depending upon what I ate before and after a workout.
