Jacksonville, Florida. It seems they took it down in response to protests; however, based on some of the quotes from their organization that I've read, they haven't exactly changed their minds. Oh, and the billboard/banner is still available on PETA's website, too. :(
I am well, I am in Pittsburgh due to having the opportunity to move there cheaply, and I'm trying to find work. It's been a fun adventure so far, but no major stories. ^^;; But I am well nonetheless. And Sonata Arctica is playing here in a month and a half, and I will go to them, and I will think of you. <3 :D

I always kind of think of PETA as the left-wing equivalent of the right-wing Crazy Jesus People. In some ways it's comforting to know that crazy doesn't have to make you right-wing, but it'd be even better if they'd shut the hell up.

Yeah, I agree. My best guess is that PETA was created as a publicity-stunt gimmick, where celebrities could donate money to "charity", then use said money to throw parties for each other, have their photos taken and published for "charity" ad campaigns, and give each other awards for it all. It's very clever, but it's ceased to be convincing.
