Hey Mike! long time no speak. Glad to hear you're warming up to your new city -- and that the fat lazy polluting bastards in Alberta are quietter about bikes and milk (or perhaps just illiterate).

Here's a smaller version of your pic, already in the tag! w00t for computer geekdom, I'm proud of you!

That's about the same amount of water I see from my "harbour view". When there isn't a big boat in the way.

Latino festival sounds fun. I'm not sure Fringe Theatre will be your thing, but I've also heard that Edmonton is good for that.

How's the mullet coming?

Your view is still better. River never trumps ocean. Although my view of Commonwealth Stadium kicks the ass of your view of the NS.

Rural Canada? I wouldn't say that Halifax is rural... especially for Nova Scotia. You want rural Nova Scotial, then take a look at the Goler Family. These folks used to live just doen the road from me when I was going to school in the Annapolis Valley

True. But you haven't seen the inside of my apartment yet. The view in there is not so great. And although the view is great, I have a meager 2 blocks before I get into the hood, and then I'm forced to share my crack with the others.

This is the part where Mike tells you about the boarding house he lived in in Fredericton, and the fact that it was uphill both ways to get to school.

How did you like the fringe festival? Did you see any plays? Ours was 'soul survivor' but I went to see 'drama queen' and LOVED it.

I liked the fringe festival a lot actually. I saw a few plays, but I can't remember what they were called now.

I also like that area down by Whyte Ave. I wish I knew the city better before I chose a place to live.
