My disgust w/ the media continues. Barely a few TV stations covered any mention of the protest. Hardly any of the numbers of attendance were accurate. NBC, ABC, CBS and even Fox were busy doing other things. Those that did were shoddy to outright attempting to pit folks as Anti Obama folks and gun nuts. Here's an example link from 1 of the 2

So people who have been screwed over by the banks they hoped to get free money from by gambling in the stock market are upset now, but instead of demanding market reforms or the prosecution of corporate criminals they're blaming people on welfare?

Were the veterans demanding cuts in the trillion-dollar military budget? Did they scream for withdrawal of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, or the closure of any of the 800 military bases around the world?

Were these liberty-lovers demanding an end to the war on drugs, or the abolition of the Homeland Security Department and the TSA? Cuts in the CIA, NSA, NRO, DIA, or any other spook agency operating with almost no oversight?

Here in North Carolina the wingnuts were getting plenty of time on air to blame the poor for their problems and recite the nonsense they're fed by Limbaugh, Hannity and other millionaire crybabies.
