Why does school always push me to my mental limit? I took yesterday off of schoolwork to spend the morning and early afternoon with my mom and grandma, do loads of laundry, clean my apartment, and make an excellent mix for my best friend. Go talk to that professor! Explain how hard you studied and that you usually do quite all right. Ask what you can do about it. Professors (if they are doing their jobs) love to talk to students who are actually interested and engaged. This is my experience, and it is also the reason that I still haven't finished a five-page paper that was due on Friday-- I went to talk to the prof. and got a totally open-ended extension. Never underestimate the power of being intelligent and personable.
