I haven’t written anything on live journal since shortly after I created an account. It seemed like a fun thing to do and my girlfriend,

Dude - i read the whole thing. I'm fairly certain that whatever theology each of us has now will drastically change again at some point in the future as we continue to seek Truth and to simultaneously seek the face of God. I still want to go to church with y'all sometime. ~Seth
I read all of it too...but you had to know that I would if anybody did. I do have thoughts and questions, but not enough time to formulate them into a brief response this morning. I was up getting some work done before school and came across your journal entry. You haven't posted in ages, so I had to start reading ;) Don't worry...my thoughts of you aren't negative. You're still Bro. Guff...hehe. I will be praying that the Lord gives you a peace about His Truth. Anyway...talk to you soon.

Yes I know I'm one of those people who passes by and says "Hi, it's bene awhile" but that's as much a "shame on you" as it is a "shame on me." If not, more of a shame on me. :( Sorry. it's a crazy time of life. As far as the theological discussion...I have more thoughts than live journal will let me say but it's all good. :) Have a wonderful day Guffin! :)
But we love you Guff!! And I feel your pain, I've done my spurts of disappearing too... And I wouldn't see half my friends either if I didnt have class with them (and the other half I never see for one reason or another...)
And I read the whole thing too, and you had a lot of good points and good questions. While I agree that the Bible has errors and is still valid, I'm not sure how to answer those questions either... The best I can suggest is that while God inspired the men to write the books of the Bible, it was still written by men, so with variations on words and translations can vary, and orginal meanings occasionally get lost...
I also like how you pointed out that Our bibles are based on what’s called a critical text which means that a bunch of scholars got together, looked at all the bookoos of each book of the New Testament and tried to guess what the original would have said. Its refreshing when I see people who understand that...
