It's sad, but I've just made a decision not to finish my NaNoWriMo project. You won't be the only one who doesn't finish -- and barring some fit of inspiration you'll probably end up with a higher word count than I will (ooh -- we can have a NaNo write-in this weekend!).
I think you're handling all this rather well, really. Truth be told.
