Okay, that was not funny.
I have patience with a great deal of assine things, Dante foremost among those most of the time, but something is going to DIE for this. How dare these pathetic shades defile my weapon! [Sounds of him rewrapping something.]
And if anyone should come across a small charm shaped like either a dragon or a demon's face, please

Those... those... moronic ghosts unwrapped its hilt and made off with the charms bound to it! They descrated it! Not to mention I have no idea if they've screwed it up doing that! [They probably haven't, maybe lessened its powers a little, but they didn't make off with the whole sword. Still Vergil is not happy.]

They unwrapped your katana? [Mika pauses as she rubs her face, trying to think through her sleepiness. She's got nothing.]

[Better than Rebellion. Who had a think for the Noir Film genre when the time period came around. And... you know... being rebellious and all that...]
That was totally the dog, Vergil, I keep tellin' you that! [Still, he's relieved that at least the amulet isn't gone. That's a little more important than a good luck charm.] Besides. Damned good cupcake.

It's just... they left it all tangled up and scattered through the room. Though if it did get away, we could always find a bag of carmels to use as bait.
[And Yamato had a thing for anime, the louder the better. Vergil was not going to think about three weeks of Neon Genesis Evangelion ever again.]
Oh? The dgo knew how to operate the paper shredder? [No Dante, you aren't getting away that easily. And the amulet isn't going anywhere, he's taken the precaution of applying a strip of tape to its back and carefully winding a thin piece artistically down the chain.] I called it first. [Sulk.]

Hide in a corner and watch. And who says you can't kill what's already dead? Dante and I make a habit of it.
