Have you told them that this system has accessibility flaws? I am a total, so I wouldn't be able to see the lights in any situation. Does this system contain visual indicators to where the nearest exit is? Are these ever audible? When I was at The Seeing Eye, we got to have a fire drill with their new system, which includes audible and visual announcements, as well as vocal directions with different sounds to indicate where the exits are. I guess I would be concerned that during a real disaster, something would happen, and only the lights would work. Of course, if people started running en mass from their offices, you might figure out that something was up. :}

Sorry--I really don't have any suggestions about training your pup to respond to the lights. Good luck, and keep us posted.

Actually, that doesn't even sound like it's up to accessibility codes. Possibly not even safety codes. Wonder if the fire marshal knows?
