Finally, I get it.

So I woke up this morning, and it was raining. This made me happy. Because normally, lots o' rain=Dave not having to work. But it wasn't raining enough for that, apparently. So I just got very wet and worked anyway. suh-WEET. I guess I got out 2 hours early, so I have time to take a nap before going out to other-job, which is a plus. So I'm ( Read more... )

A thought just occured to me. People (myself ESPECIALLY included) are always talking about how they wish they could play this instrument or that one, and use that skill to write more music. I just thought I'd point out that I hadn't really missed school to this extent since I listened to the K jazz band playing "God Bless the Child" a few minutes ago. That song, more than anything else, seemed to be a reminder of lots of the great things which aren't available in Stoughton for me. so yeah, mope, mope, whine, whine, cheer up emo kid

There's a bird in my house.

I thought it was going to be warm, though. As a result, as the day has progressed, I have steadily altered my state of dress... So that I am currently wearing:

Jean shorts
A white t-shirt
White socks pulled up to my upper calfs
Purple chucks
a black long-sleeved sweater thing with blue stripes

I look ridiculous. And there is no reason for this

I used to do things on Friday nights. Really, I did.
