Name: Schuldig. There are a lot of variations to this though, like Schuldich, or Schulderich, but his name means a word in German, and it is spelled as Schuldig, so that's the most correct one T_T "SCHULDIG" is pronounced as "Schulderich" though, despite how it is pronounced in the dub.
Alias: Mastermind.
Seiyuu: Midorikawa Hikaru. For those who don't know him, he is one sexy-voiced seiyuu.
Hair: Orange-red, whatever. But in the manga, it's green. Island!Schu is a mix of anime and manga. Manga: his personality, Anime: background.
Eyes: Green...! In the manga, it's orange-reddish. rofl surpraiz exchange.
Height: Around 6'1" or something.
Age: Roughly 22 to 23.
Ethnicity: OKAY, so a lot of people say that he's German, while a lot of people say that he isn't, but just originated from Germany. In the manga though, he speaks German, but g;sdaklgjs wtf I don't really know?! Let's just go with German or something because Koyasu likes Germany because he's a sped. That, and it would be pretty boring if he's American or Irish, since Schwarz is made up of people of different nationalities.
Weapons: Durr okay. Literally, his weapon is a gun. He's good at using his gun, and is very accurate when it comes to shooting and all that. Although we could also consider that he uses his special abilities (which will be discussed after this) as weapons too.
Special Abilities: Schuldig is very, very fast. He can move at high speeds, and hello there redundancy. If you're not convinced, have a YouTube video. He's kind of like the Flash, only a bit slower? Ha ha ha \o_O/ This means that he can pretty much evade whatever it is you throw at him or whatever.
He can also read minds and communicate through telepathy. A negative characteristic to this ability, despite how godmodly this can be, is that he can't control it. There wasn't really a specific limit to his ability, and all that. Bottom line is-- he can hear it, even if he wants to or not. He may act cool and collected, and seems like he's not reading your thoughts at all, but he actually is. :D He even stated to Crawford that sometimes, he gets confused as to which thoughts are his, and which aren't.
Despite its uncontrollability, Schuldig still uses his ability to read minds as a weapon. He's a sadist and loves to see people suffer, so he'll definitely use it to his advantage and break people through their past, or whatever traumatizing experience they had before that they want to forget.
Another pro in this ability is that he can control people through their minds. Meaning, he can manipulate people, literally. At one point in the series, Sakura was made to point a gun at Ran even if it was against her will. Pre Weiss Kreuz Kapitel (0000 to 1998):
Schuldig grew up as an experiment in a laboratory called Rosenkrüs, which was located in the Austrian Alps. The ones who ran this was a group called Estet. Estet experimented on people with supernatural abilities, and at the same time, trained these experiments to be weapons of mass destruction.
At this time, Schuldig met Brad Crawford and Farfarello as the three of them were part of the same classes within the facility. Classes could mean controlling their abilities, learning more about them, et cetera. It wasn't explained in the series, since Schwarz hardly has canon to back it up.
Once Crawford, Schuldig and Farfarello grew up and gained excellent control of their ability, they were given assignments all around the world. One of these assignments included posing as bodyguards for Takatori.
Schuldig's age: Teens to 21.
Weiss Kreuz Kapitel (1998):
Once they arrive in Japan, they do a mission they were previously instructed with before meeting their client. They pick up Nagi Naoe, the last member of Schwarz at a church.
Thereafter, they become bodyguards of one of the most powerful men in Japan. At this time, Schuldig manages to go around town, meet his enemies, decide on who his prey are, and the like. Of course, his prey becomes Weiss. And actuality, he is the first one to know of Weiss, even though Ran has seen Crawford in an episode in the beginning of the series.
Once Takatori becomes Japan's Prime Minister, he sees no use for Schwarz anymore, and keeps them locked in a room. However, this was all planned by Crawford, and they quickly turned the tables around. Schwarz 'adopts' Schrient, a group of women assassins who despise Weiss for killing the other Takatoris and all that. They use Schrient to get Aya Fujimiya, Ran's sister who's in a coma but has not aged since her first day of unconsciousness. This was their main task, as instructed by Estet.
Fastforwarding, a fake Aya Fujimiya is surrendered to Estet for the summoning of some kind of Hitler god. Yes. However, being the traitors that they are, they also betrayed Estet. The real Aya Fujimiya was with them. Their motive was unclear, but they still betrayed Estet, et cetara.
Weiss Kreuz Kapitel ends with Weiss and Schwarz falling into the ocean.
Schuldig's age: 22 to 23.
Post Weiss Kreuz Kapitel (1999):
Schwarz is still alive and is stalking Weiss and plotting their deaths. *A*b
Schuldig's age: 24.
Pre Weiss Kreuz Gluhen (2000):
Aside from plotting Weiss' demise, Schwarz is also on the run from Estet due to their betrayal in Kapitel. Another reason that they are wanted by the higher-ups of Estet is because their powers are much more superior than those of Estet. Basically, they're too powerful for Estet, that they see Schwarz as a threat.
During these events, Schwarz's headquarters in Munich is destroyed by Estet and they continue to be on the run, escaping from them. This is where these following events happen.
Schuldig: Farfarello might be ok with that. But to put it bluntly, we're just the victims here. How about we part ways with the two of you right now? (two guys = nagi and farf)
Brad: But even if we did so, Colonel Amlisch won't forgive us in any case.
Schuldig: Then what the hell are we supposed to do?

After the end of the second disc, Nagi leaves Schwarz, leaving only Crawford and Schuldig as the two remaining members of this assassination group.

Weiss Kreuz Gluhen (2002):
In Gluhen, Schwarz (Crawford and Schuldig) are plotting on destroying Estet. They learn of Rozenkreuz's arrival in Japan, and that they will be encountering Weiss in battle, so they join in for a very special reunion. Schwarz first appears above the school (... I forgot what it was called), with Schuldig hearing Crawford's thoughts, and Crawford telling him to stop reading his mind, and all that.
Anyway, Weiss was suppposed to fight Rozenkreuz initially, but Schwarz (along with Nagi, who has allied himself with Weiss) interrupt their fights and settle their issues with Rozenkreuz by themselves. This is where more of Schwarz's history is revealed. As Schwarz betrayed Estet, replicas of them have been made through the use of their DNA (take note that they grew up in a lab...!). These replicas don't look anything like them though, but that's what they said. \o_O/ Also, these replicas have enhanced abilities, but Schwarz still pwns them since they're godmodders and never die.

Character personality:
As an assassin:
Schuldig, is a sadist. He would kill, and kill, and kill to his heart's content, and possibly just kill people out of sheer will or boredom. He doesn't care about people's lives. They're just little toys for him, and he will not hesitate to pull the trigger, manipulate a person or just mindbreak someone.
Thing is, though, he sometimes gets out of control when it comes to his job as a professional killer. He becomes way too trigger-happy, that he ends up killing or hurting someone he ISN'T supposed to kill. (That, or he just has bad aim, which is VERY unlikely) This is shown in Weiss when he and Farfarello accidentally killed Ouka, Takatori's only daughter.
Now, WHY would Schuldig care so much for Ouka's death? At that point in time, Schwarz (the group Schuldig belongs to) needed to use the Takatoris power. So, he didn't really care about the girl dying, he actually cared about the benefits that he would be taken away from him because of it.
He's also the kind of guy who would play nice just for the sake of getting closer to someone that he wants to break.
One thing to take note about Schuldig: he's a sweet-talker, and might be whispering to your ears words you wished you had heard from someone else. And then bam-- good bye, life ends there, breakdown and cry.
As a member of Schwarz:
Schwarz isn't a happy family. Although the members (Nagi, Crawford, Farfarello and Schuldig) get along pretty well most of the time. Except for that one time with Crawford bitch-slapping Nagi since he fell in-love with Tot and all-- but that's not the point here. See, Schuldig may be a sadist, but he's got some good qualities too! Once you get to know him, or have a bond similar to what the Schwarz members have, he's actually the cheerful, happy-go-lucky kind of guy who you'd totally depend on.
Except, you can't really depend on Schuldig, so scratch that thought.
Schuldig loosens up and plays pranks on people once he finds these people comfortable enough to actually talk to. You know? He's got layers, or something equally as stupid. He's the devil and joker in one, aaand, he'll actually stick by you if he finds you someone he can actually trust. Crawford would be a good example. See, Schuldig could just as easily kill Crawford, but they've got this certain bond (as heard in the drama CDs) that makes them stick by each other, despite how annoying Schuldig can be, and despite how Crawford's got a stick up his ass.
Schuldig shows each of these two sides of his personality to the people he meets from time to time, possibly combined. He could joke about his being sadistic, all that fun stuff.
You can never really tell if he's serious or not.
