Yesterday was my 2+ remission check up with my oncologist. Every time it's time to go to the onocologist, I'm less worried than the previous time. Everything is fine. Yesterday I got the the office at 11, was triaged, had lots of blood taken, peed in a cup, and was talking to the doctor by 11:30. This usually takes a lot longer, so I was happy ( Read more... )

As it turns out, my bumming rides off of people for 5 weeks was completely unnecessary. All my car needed was a jump and a battery replacement. The mo-mobile is back in business.

For all those interested in attending wine club this week, I changed the date to Thursday night. (I have to be in Newark on Thurs morning around 8:30 or 9, so I'll have to leave around 6am). That is all.

Sometimes I really hate my job. There's only so much abuse a person can take.

I always hate my teeth, and my dental insurance. Curse my genes and American healthcare.

I will be sans car till Sunday or Monday. And I could buy a decent used car for the amount of money they're charging me to fix it. Maybe not, but close. At least the towing was free :/

I feel like I haven't seen anyone in weeks. Last week my family was here from Ohio, so I spent every free night with them. The last time I saw them I was in the middle of chemotherapy (two years ago already!) This week I was exhausted and recovering from going out every night last week.
