[ The SFC turns on to show
Klavier, looking rather melancholy and preoccupied. There's sheets of paper scattered ALL over the room and his
guitar, slung over his shoulder, is plugged into a small amp sitting near his bed. He sighs quietly, tapping away on the body of the instrument. ]
Mm-mm-mmmm~ ♪ [ Pauses, and-- ] .... No, no no no.

Mostly self-musings and tl;dr. Lonely prosecutor is lonely. )

Lacking in inspiration? That is a tough state of mind to fight, I must confess. But you will find what you need. Vatheon contains many talented musicians.
[A small laugh. His is learning, but...]
I am no talented musician myself, not at all, but I appreciate good music when I hear it. That performance you gave before... nothing like the music I am familiar with, but your talents are clear enough.

Something like that. More like inspiration's lacking me, ja?
[ A poor attempt at being humorous. ]
Hahah... well, I'd have to be a good musician. But it really isn't the same unless you hear us where we belong--on stage, blaring lights, screaming crowds.

I do not necessarily agree. My closest friend is a masterful musician, and wherever I hear him, I appreciate his music and hear the beauty in it. Be that in a casual situation, a proper performance, or indeed in battle.
It may be an opinion unique to myself, of course, as a mere listener.
[AND AS SOMEONE WHO KEEPS HIS PLAYING TO HIMSELF, MOSTLY.]

Mm... but a band is not without each member. If I'd wanted to be a solo performer, I'd have taken up something else. Violin, maybe, like my bro.
[ But it just wasn't his style and he rebelled, so he started a band and learned to play the guitar. ]
You know, this place is just far too quiet.

And I believe I told you already. Wakana-san's music is my favourite.

... And what kind of music is it?

Wakana-san's music is splendid. It touches people's hearts.

[He pauses for a moment.]
From what you've said, you're part of a band?

[ That'd be a yes, and there's a strum from his guitar. He feels like he's met this kid before, but... ]
Ja, that I am.

[Don't look at him; he doesn't know.]
I didn't think there were band members here. What's yours about?

The Gavinners, to be precise. I'm the lead vocalist for them; funny thing, really... I was taken here in the middle of a concert! Ach, can you believe that? Insane, for them to get through security like that.
Music is all of our second passions, of course--our first is the law. Everyone in my band is employed in law enforcement... myself, I rock the courtroom by day, and the stage at night.
[ And! A grin. He can do faux cheeriness, because he is Klavier, and he never stays sad for long. ] On that note... Klavier Gavin, prosecutor and rock legend, at your service. Might I ask who I'm speaking with~?

If you're looking for inspiration, just observe the people around you. It doesn't have to be all serious or doom and gloom or about being a prosecutor or whatever it is. Just let your heart take over for a little and you'll come up with something. Forget the trivial crap and have fun.
You sound like you're trying to rope all of us musicians in the same room! [There's a grin under that hood, though.]

[ ... He laughs. That was a joke, yes. ]
But--seems I've been caught! Ja, I am. I'd like to get us musicians in one room and see if we can't do something together, you know? A collaboration.

How many do y'think are here all together? Besides us and that one dude who plays the shamisen.

[ ... And he chuckles. ]
Hahaha, keeping your inspiration from knowing it's inspiring~? Sounds tricky.
