[ The SFC turns on to show Klavier, looking rather melancholy and preoccupied. There's sheets of paper scattered ALL over the room and his guitar, slung over his shoulder, is plugged into a small amp sitting near his bed. He sighs quietly, tapping away on the body of the instrument. ]

I am no talented musician myself, not at all, but I appreciate good music when I hear it. That performance you gave before... nothing like the music I am familiar with, but your talents are clear enough.

Hahah... well, I'd have to be a good musician. But it really isn't the same unless you hear us where we belong--on stage, blaring lights, screaming crowds.

[A chuckle. He won't push too much at that, when it wasn't supposed to be heard in the first place.]

I do not necessarily agree. My closest friend is a masterful musician, and wherever I hear him, I appreciate his music and hear the beauty in it. Be that in a casual situation, a proper performance, or indeed in battle.

It may be an opinion unique to myself, of course, as a mere listener.

The truth is just as elusive as inspiration at times. You'll just have to keep on trucking. Perhaps play older songs to keep your skills fresh, and who knows? You might find inspiration that way.

The Gavinners, to be precise. I'm the lead vocalist for them; funny thing, really... I was taken here in the middle of a concert! Ach, can you believe that? Insane, for them to get through security like that.

Music is all of our second passions, of course--our first is the law. Everyone in my band is employed in law enforcement... myself, I rock the courtroom by day, and the stage at night.

[ And! A grin. He can do faux cheeriness, because he is Klavier, and he never stays sad for long. ] On that note... Klavier Gavin, prosecutor and rock legend, at your service. Might I ask who I'm speaking with~?

If you're looking for inspiration, just observe the people around you. It doesn't have to be all serious or doom and gloom or about being a prosecutor or whatever it is. Just let your heart take over for a little and you'll come up with something. Forget the trivial crap and have fun.

You don't have to tell me that. In fact, my trials are where I get most of the inspiration for my music; we're just decidingly lacking in criminals here who need prosecuting.

[ ... He laughs. That was a joke, yes. ]

But--seems I've been caught! Ja, I am. I'd like to get us musicians in one room and see if we can't do something together, you know? A collaboration.

I get mine from the people I work with. Most of the time. Well, sometimes. I'd probably get turned into a Dusk if some of the guys knew 'bout 'em. Noooot really the best people to write songs about.

How many do y'think are here all together? Besides us and that one dude who plays the shamisen.
