Ok, so I was
reading this (long story short, 1000 Korean fangirls in a semi-silent protest against the addition of a new member to a boyband, it's retarded) and being awed at how fucking dumb it is and at how completely oblivious these girls must be to what's actually important in life, and I decided that I wanted to do something worthwhile to try

(Everyone always asks me about the pink ribbon round my left wrist that has a really random story behind it, but no-one asks me about the red misanga on my right wrist, damnit! ;) You know, one of thse days I'm going to have to join the damn SuJu comm just to see all the wanky things people link to there! ^^;;

You know now I'm going to have to ask the random story behind the pink ribbon, right? XD
And the SuJu comm has been exceptionally wanky as of late. I suppose it's to make up for the months of peace when I originally joined it. -_-; Most of the wank is coming from the Korean fans though, who are exceptionally retarded - for once the Western fans are being (mostly) responsible and mature about everything! (And aha, someone just posted a petition there requesting the Korean SuJu fans to 'shut the fuck up'. XDDDD)

The pink ribbon, well, just before I left Burngreave one of the women was wearing a new top, and you know the straps tops have on the inside of the shoulders to keep it on the hanger? Well, she still had those in, so I cut them out for her, and she tied one round my wrist. And I still have it to this day! Hee, what was cute was after Tokyo Dome, I randomly met some other European fans and they pointed it out, because we were all feeling a bit pink that night. ^_~

Aww, the origins are a bit random, but the story has gotten good! :D And a;ljksdf, Tokyo Dome, if that part isn't on the 47 DVD I will CRY.

Also, I'm up to 6 people that want a band now, so I might try for a 10 pack! By all means, ask your sister! Even if she doesn't want one, I'm sure I can find other people. ♥ Thankyou for participating! :D

Actually, I love the idea so much, I think many people should make posts like this and offer to send out these bands - if not for Burma, then for another cause. I really like the idea!
Hmmm, I already thought that with 1.12. coming, maybe I should try getting an AIDS band. If such thing will exist. I never paid attention to these bands before, because in the beginning they were only for fashion (with city names etc), at least the ones I saw, and I didn't like that.

I think wrist-bands for Burma are actually new, but when I saw them tonight I was like "!!! MUST GET!". I love wristbands, they're a great way to support, then advertise charity. I've been following what's been happening in Burma fairly closely and it just breaks my heart. Even if it's small, I want to help out, but it's not a cause that's easy to support - you'd know that exactly, after following it for eight years.

And argh, I can't wait for my exams to be over. As usual, mine go right to the very last day, because Griffith hates me. I'm trying to arrange to get that day off work though (it's a Friday night - wish me luck!) so that after my exam I can meet up with everyone and fun can be had! So keep an eye out, I'll probably be harassing all of you to spend time with me and go out for drinks on the 16th when everything is over. I can drink to my (probably) last semester at Griffith! :O
