I wouldn't think they're an irritant, Kris. More like a cute, useless little nightlight.

Though, truthfully, I suspect they're some sort of way to check up on us. There was one point the fairies disappeared, but only once. It's hard to say just why. This place has a lot of mysteries I have yet to unravel myself--maybe you can take a crack at them.

[ As for living... ] You only have to talk to the locals tending the apartments and houses here. Most of the housing is in the Lower District, though, but there are some neighborhoods. Whatever suits you, ja? I'm staying in an apartment at the moment, myself.

I have never needed a nightlight, Klavier. I've never had the desire for one either. I don't suppose there's a way to make them disappear?
