My new laptop arrived a few hours ago via the good people at FedEx. I, to say the least, am elated. I have named him Seanán, an Irish name meaning "little wise person." I debated calling him Tenjin (Japanese god of learning, language, and calligraphy who taught people to write), Hotei (Japanese god of happiness, laughter, and the wisdom of being ( Read more... )

And for my part, I'm still searching for an appropriately Divine offering for the GODDESS OF THE UNIVERSE. In other news, has Isabelle contacted you about doing the IS with her next semester instead of with Dr. Bordeau? Phonetics class wity Izzy at her house! How much more fun could that be?!

Well, regardless I'll still be doing independant study with Caty B; but no, I haven't heard from Izzy T about IS. If and when I do, I'll contact you!

YAY for new laptops! I bet it's amazing!

Thank you so much for your message the other night...it really meant a lot to me. I would have called you back, but my phone is wacked out. Like, I try to make a call, and it goes black. Not all the time, but most of the time. Cingular and I are going to have a fight after xmas.

Anyway, as soon as I get that situation fixed, I'll give you a call. Have a merry christmas!

That is really strange. I got a new cell phone and it's covered with Cingular...I haven't had any problems yet though. I know the feeling though; my old cell phone (purchased before Cingular bought AT&T) received signals from Cingular, AT&T and T-Mobile...at the same time. Here in Fayetteville, the stupid thing was constantly competing for a signal between the three carriers; in Batesville...well, need I say anything?

Merry Christmas!
