Wasn't that the best seaons of Torchwood? I love that season.

And I read an article where Steven Moffat wants Jack back for Who! *squee*

So, what were your thoughts on CoE? It gutted me, but it was good drama. Still want Ianto back.

My first thought, very disturbing. It bothered me for a couple of days. Very good drama, I was edge of my seat for nearly every episode. I'm with you I want Ianto back, while I get the idea of killing a regular character, they had just done that, times two. When compared to Owen and Tosh's death's, Ianto's was... senseless. (and frankly I was fretting over Rhy's fate for the rest of the series!)

And maybe that was the point? Hero's don't always die for the a good reason, sometimes it's just collateral damage? It sucked though, even when I knew it was coming.

What I didn't see coming was Steven's death, and frankly, it affected me more so than Ianto's.

I am looking forward the new series

Perhaps we should call Ianto Tasha Yar. LOL

Yeah, killing off 2/3 of the team in 3 years was a bit much (I'm considering Suzie here as well). I'm not one of the crazy Gwen haters or anything, but she always seems to come out remarkably unscathed.

Frobisher's end and Steven's death were definitely tear-jerkers.

But I disagree with what RTD said about Ianto's death putting Jack in a place where he would sacrifice his grandson. I think he would have done it no matter what and I think Ianto would have agreed with his decision. After all, he was considering his own niece and nephew when Jack said they needed a child. As tragic as it was, it did seem that it was the only solution.
