How shitty. Did you express your concern about Monsanto? Or did he just blather on?

Some of both: I told him about why I object to GMOs and monopolies in general, and to Monsanto in particular. He "reassured" me that it's "better this way," and explained why I shouldn't worry about it. I told him, regretfully, that I won't be buying "Jiffy"s products as long as they're made with GMOs. He seemed resigned but not especially concerned. So I thought I'd better share the news with my friends on LJ and FB, just in case anybody is interested either way.
