Spring's officially with us, balmy sunshine from a hazy sky, this morning the mountains were nearly all swallowed in the milky blue haze, except for St Antón, the ex-volcano whose shoulders protect the functional ochre blocks of the Ciudad Cooperativa; allotments and market gardens by the train line awash with blossom: peach, apple, cherry trees:

it feels a bit like that in London now, the clocks have gone forward, and it all feels brighter, more inviting, more birds singing. I've turned the heating timer off, and am enjoying the crisp chill of the mornings without being really cold...
