Hey.. I often think of the same things- about how there are always people that are going to be smarter and people who have intellectual talents. As stupid as it sounds, everyone really does have different talents. I have a hard time not comparing myself to other people, because I am really competitive. I guess I just have to realize that God made me the way he wanted for a reason- and my talents must enable me to do what my purpose in life is, whatever that may be! God has a plan for ya, Min- just gotta trust him.
That's a question that so many people disagree on, some vehemently. The Bible says that God has His will, but we're also responsible for what we do. There are places, for example, in the Old Testament where God says "If you do this, I will bless you, but you didn't, so..." And so on. Basically, I just try to avoid what some people fall into, which I think is a sort of fatalism, where it doesn't matter what you do, since it's predetermined, and therefore not your fault.
Okay- I think you know my opinions about a lot of this stuff. I'm fairly certain anyway. But this is what I have to say so brace yourself for the opinions of me. We can all look at others and find things that they can do better than ourselves and choose not to find merit in what we can do- valuing the actions and abilities of everyone over our own. And I think that's normal. I believe if you walk around thinking, "Hey- I'm great at everything. Hot damn, I'm awesome. Everyone should want to be like me and I know I'll suceed at everything I do because I can do everything I'll ever need to." then you are an egotistical pompous jackass who obviously has lived more than most of us and doesn't want to see the ways of others. Because the point is: even if you're great at something someone out there will be better than you at some point. It's the struggle. It's trying to please yourself and find your own niche in the world. And if you compare yourself to others you are either setting yourself up for joy or disappointment- depending on your

Hehehe I really enjoyed reading your post. Like I said earlier, you are very inspiring. Plus, you used the phrase "Hot damn", and that totally made my night :)
I do so love the phrase hot damn. I don't know why. Sometimes I think it to myself and I giggle a little-or a lot? A lot. I giggle much too much at the phrase hot damn. Yes. Woohoo to nights being made!
AHHHHRRRNOOOLD! Dude what's up. This post is the one I forgot to keep it 'Friends Only'. It's a good thing though, because otherwise I wouldn't have known that you are my secret admirer! Well actually I did find the person who left that note :p.

My thoughts, at any rate.

The latter, on the other hand, is crap. That encourages people to do anything their stupid heads tell them to.
