Author's Note: Sick to my stomach...I think I ate too much food last night...gonna go walk it off and fall asleep.
“Oh, yeah, that’s it.”
Mac had been walking by the storage closet when he heard a very, very incriminating moan come from the other side of the door.
In the storage closet, however, it was a different story.
Two unsuspecting people were just about to become the target of one Mac Taylor. Stella was walking towards Mac’s office when she saw him with his ear to the storage closet door, and she tapped him on the shoulder. “What’s going on?”
“Listen.” Then, a particularly loud moan was muffled by the door, but only a little.
“Mmm…unh…oh, yeah, that feels good.” Stella raised an eyebrow, and then whispered,
“That sounded like…”
“I know.” Mac turned to Stella, and she grinned. On the other side of the door, another moan was muffled, and then Mac heard another voice say,
“Not so loud.”
“Was that…?”
“I’m not sure.”
Five minutes had passed, and Mac heard the familiar sound of a zipper being zipped back up, and he looked at Stella. They backed away from the door, and Stella opened a folder she’d been carrying. “I had those results for you before…”
“And?”
“DNA from the blood on the victim’s blouse came back as a filial match; Shared alleles at all loci.” The door to the storage closet opened, and the two that were inside the closet looked at each other and then at Mac and Stella.
“Hi,” came Adam’s squeak.
“I, uh, I needed some, uh, some help gettin’ more, uh, boxes of gloves down from the-the, uh, shelves,” Danny stammered, and Mac raised his eyebrows.
“Gloves are on the first shelf. Either you’re shrinking or the shelves are growing,” Stella replied, and Mac snorted a laugh. Adam looked at Danny, walked to the trace lab, and then Danny bolted to the fingerprinting lab. Stella looked over at Mac, and with a smirk, said, “You get the Luminol, I’ll get the swabs.”
