Hate to disagree, bro, but Hudson's Falcons was, indeed, at the Old Miami. Lots of good memories of the Old Miami - like boosting myself up on the urinal to post a Burnt Toast sticker near the ceiling in the bathroom.

I will agree with you, though, on the snow. What up with that?

And, I used to take Tang Soo Do back in the day. Good times.

Right on, that's cool you are thinking about doing some martial arts. I have actually lost about 10 pound in the 2 months I hav been doing. I go to Team Force Martial Arts in Flint. It's on Dort HWY. by Hemphill. They have been around Flint forever and really now what they are doing. There are plenty of "ins" like getting in shape, learning, self defense. They don't teach a lot of Easter Philosphy so it doesn't contradict Christianity which is important to me. I think they are Christians themselves. Not too many outs. It costs me a little money to get started....they offer a beginner course for $72 which is 8 weeks and up to 32 classes if you go 4 times a week. I try to go 2 or 3 times a week. If you only go once a week the getting shape thing doesn't really work. After the beginner course it's $50 a month and by then you'll have to get a uniform which is about $60, and you might want to buy the sparring gear so you can fight. I think it's something like $75 but I got mine online for $50. so check it out I think you might like it. ( ... )

I'm glad I decided to check out your LJ. I've been looking at various options for martial arts. Come to think of it, I'll probably buddy list you.
