Tom Cruise, Dane Cook, the art of comedy, and the closet

As a kid, I didn't mind Tom Cruise all that much.  What '80's kid didn't like Top Gun? (well, in the '80's; now, not so much)  But by the time the shitfest that was Days of Thunder rolled around, his luster had quickly faded.  He's just not that great of an actor.  Not awful, but just not that great.

Vader screaming "NOOO" was utterly awful. I wanted to set fire to the theatre so that none of us would have to live with how embarrassed we were when he did that.

He is god in the comedy form.
