OK, I was doing some USA Today crosswords online tonight, and I clicked back to the 6/12 puzzle, and despite solving the puzzle, one of the clues just didn't make any sense to me:

Yeah, the Umhlanga thing was the only connection I saw while googling, but it seemed a bit too obscure for the average USA Today reader. At least now I know a wee bit more about Swazi ceremonials than I did before! ;)

Other than the Swazi dance, there is a possible connection if "Dance" is a typo or a spell-check correction of "Donner" and another word is left off. The Donner Party tragedy is also known as the Donner-Reed Party sometimes. That would be a stretch, though.

Other than that, I, Google, Yahoo and Wikipedia got nuttin.
