I need a new phone

And since I won't be doing the FasterLouder stuff any more, my plans to get a gigantic, blackberry-based, all in one super solution is no longer required.

So I'm open to suggestions, although Im keen to stay on 3, if possible, because i get some kind of loyalty reward now. What phones/plans do you guys have?

I've heard the call quality on iphones is pretty average. The no MMS thing pretty much lost me. Anyway I got a nokia e71 a little while ago and am really happy with it although I guess it's blackberry-ish. It's a good size though, really slim. With my 3 'loyalty credits' I was able to get it for $0 on the $49 cap.

yeah ive looked at that one, its cool, does the $49 cap include any web browsing, or do you have to pay for web on top of that?

You have to pay on top - I think you get 1GB with the $69 cap. I pay $5 a month for about 20mb - I don't use 3's internet very often, I'm usually using it with other wireless connections, like my home one.

for me, who doesnt like to jump on the apple bandwagon, partly because everyone else does, partly cause apple tells me im uncool if i dont.. it's about what you want from a phone

and, im paying 79ish bucks a month with vodafone, for $500ish worth of credit, and it includes any internet time ive been using (at least, i use the net all the time and i havent been getting charged extra!?).. and i also get 100 free smsz a month on top of that.
